This setup is built for steady highway miles and heavy loads. The Kenda Loadstar ST175/80D13 bias tire carries a Load Range D, 8-ply rating with a 1,610-lb maximum load at 65 psi and an M speed rating of 81 mph. Paired with a robust steel wheel rated for 1,660 lbs, it’s a dependable match for long-distance hauls without worrying about heat or stress. Both tire and wheel meet Department of Transportation specifications.
No need to make an extra stop before hitting the road. This tire comes already mounted on its 13" x 4-1/2" wide steel wheel and aired up to spec, saving time and setup hassle. The balanced assembly gives a smooth, consistent feel once installed, with even performance under load or at speed.
Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance thanks to the e-coat primer and white powder coat finish on the 8-spoke steel wheel by Dexstar. The layered protection seals out moisture and grime, keeping the wheel clean and solid even in humid or wet conditions. It’s a tough finish that looks sharp and lasts.
The bias-ply construction uses thick nylon cords crisscrossed at a 30- to 45-degree angle for a sturdy, uniform build. That design stiffens the sidewalls so the entire tire flexes together, offering better stability and smoother handling when towing over rough or uneven surfaces.
Fitment is straightforward with standard specs all around. The wheel features a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, a pilot diameter of 3.19", zero offset, and 1/2"-20 wheel bolts. With its 24" outer diameter and 6.6" section width, this combo slots neatly into most setups while maintaining full load capacity and clean handling characteristics.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Kept putting off that I needed to get a spare for my boat, and finally had the dreaded flat and no spare. (Wife didn't say "I told you so", but I could see it in her eyes.) I started checking around and stumbled across eTrailer. They carried an ST175/80D13 trailer tire with 13" white wheel, exactly the tire and rim I needed, and at a better price than I could find locally, plus free shipping. This is the place for trailer tires if you're looking for a good product at a good price, and fast delivery. No more worrying about the dreaded "I told you should have bought a spare" for me.
I purchased four of these wheel and tire sets two years ago from etrailer at a real good price. I used an old wheel and tire for a spare. It never felt right though to use an old tire for this purpose so I recently looked on etrailer's site and found they still sold the exact same wheel and tire. (and at the identical price). Now I have a full set of five that match perfectly. Thanks etrailer for selling the exact same product.
This is more a review of etrailer than on the tire. But as for the tire, it is an exact match to the two I have on my trailer. I bought the trailer used and it did not have a spare.
Now on to my review of etrailer. I looked high and low to try to find this tire and nobody carried the D load rated version of this tire, which is what my trailer requires. I then scoured the web and, while I was able to find the tire itself at several different online stores, I was unable to find it installed on the rim (needed for a spare tire) until I came upon etrailer. I was leaving for a week long camping trip in eight days and was able to get the tire delivered in what turned out to be four business days (I selected five-day shipping and ended up getting the tire in four). Having spent just over $100 for the tire and two dehumidifiers, the five-day expedited shipping did not cost much.
etrailer.com, which I had never heard of before my search for a spare tire, saved the day, and I will be sure to use them for other trailer needs in the future.
So far so good. I tow motorcycles all over the Southeast and these are doing a good job for me. Can't say enough good things about price, shipping, and customer service from E-Trailer! They are definitely my go to for trailering products!
I received the tires and rims in a very short time. They look good. I will be install them on my Scamp trailer this weekend. Very impressed with Etrailer's prompt delivery.

I have had these on my trailer for about a year now. They are working GREAT! They are holding up to the abuse we have put them through and come out on the other end without a scratch.
This tire and wheel are great, bought for a Triton aluminum trailer. But the best was the etrailer service - shipped immediately, arrived in two days, inflated and ready to put on.

I give you permission to take that $100 you saved and go buy more fishing gear Paul! You can never have too many lures, I don't care what they say! What body of water do you get out on most? I have an old little Ranger, I get out on the Lake of the Ozarks and Mark Twain Lake here in Missouri, still chasing that double digit bass though.

We used the trailer with the Loadstar ST17580D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13 . I put 10000 mile on the with a trip to Alaska. The tires are pretty much used up now. I thought I would get better mileage with them. Not very good May be 2 stars for tread life,
